Recycle Now !!!

Dear fellow-citizents

Our motto "NICE AND CLEAN ERETRIA-RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL OF US" should be common sense, sinse class, beauty and cleanness of our city, concerne all of us and is related to our everyday behavior.

For this reason, we are ready and we are applying recycling in our city and we won a bet related to environmental protection and quality of life.

Generally

Each house is equipped with a special recycling bag
Every neighborhood has its own blue recycling bin where residents deposit recyclable materials
Special refuse collection vehicle, collects recyclable materials from the blue bins and transport them to the sorting center.
All schools will have their own rivalry for recycling

The recycable material we can throw in the blue bins , are :

- Paper Packaging
- Paper, folded in order reduce the total volume
- Plastic Packaging
- Glass Packaging
- Aluminum refreshement cans
- Σιδερένιες συσκευασίες , such as tins
- Printed paper

So we will manage

To reduce the garbage going to landfill
To reduce environmental pollution , and
To save natural resources

The programm RECYCLE NOW is a quality initiative, a practical expression of our interest in the natural environment, but necessary and responsible mobilization and participation of all citizens.

We are sure that all of you with environmental awareness and sensitivity,will respond positively to our efforts to reduce waste, saving energy, improving the quality of life and environmental protection.

So, I invite everyone to contribute actively, by launching new initiatives that will ensure us a sustainable and healthy environment.

So, let's go, all together, Municipality, Residents, students, shopkeepers, to turm our motto to reality.
